Seth Tarver is returning to Portland once again.

Tarver, the former Oregon State Beavers guard who is back playing with the Idaho Stampede, will be joining the Portland Trail Blazers when training camp opens on Friday.

Scott Schroeder of Ridiculous Upside included Tarver in his list of training camp invitees today.

The 6-foot-5 Tarver returns to Boise and Portland after a breif stint overseas in Germany. He signed in the Beko BBL with EnBW Ludwigsburg in late July, but left the team two weeks later before the start of training camp.

According to one source close to Tarver, he apparently clashed with the coaching staff and opted to return to the D-League. In the end, the move paid off. After starting 33 of the 49 games he appeared in and averaging 9.9 points and 4.5 rebounds per game last season in Boise, Tarver is averaging 15.3 points and 4.3 rebounds in four games for the Stampede this season.

"My signature is my defense, so I just have to continue to play well on defense....I have to be able to knock down the NBA three," Tarver said back in February

"I feel like I'm getting close to the NBA cirle."

Tarver was in camp with the Blazers last year but was let go during the preseason.
