There is no telling how great Reggie Lewis would have become.
But on that day he belonged.
In 1992 in Orlando, Lewis played in his first and only NBA All-Star Game for the Boston Celtics and finished with 7 points and 4 rebounds in 15 minutes.
Just over a year later on July 27, 1993 the 6’7 small forward died after suffering a cardiac arrest during an offseason practice.
He was only 27 years old.
In his first two seasons in Boston, Lewis put together back-to-back seasons of 20.8 points per game and left a scoring average of 17.6 points per game as part of his Celitcs legacy.
RIP Reggie Lewis.
You'll always be an All-Star.
