An Open Letter to Portland,

Blazer fans have waited far too long for Comcast to make good on its
promise to provide that all the team's games are broadcast on
television, no matter who your provider may be or where you live.
Enough is enough.

Sports fans no longer need to feel helpless about this situation. We
are taking action and it begins today.

Come out to the Rose Garden tonight to protest Comcast's stranglehold
over our games. Meet at the main entrance at 6:30pm with remote
controllers in hand. Show your support for Oregonians across the
state who cannot get the games no matter how much they are willing to
pay. During tonight's 'We Want Control' rally, we will exercise our
right to peaceful protest waving our remote controls in the air as a
symbolic statement to our government and the company responsible for
our unrest.

Sign the petition telling our government that it's not OK to allow
businesses to get away with this type of unethical treatment of
consumers. As a national consumer advocacy group, Sports Fans
Coalition stands strong with you understanding that if Comcast can't
get this right in Portland, they shouldn't be allowed to merge with
NBC. The resulting broken promises and graft would stand unmatched on
the national level.

Finally, join us Friday at noon on the State Capitol steps to hand
deliver the signatures on the petition. Don't forget to bring your
remote controllers with you to send a message to our government that
'We Want Control'. We need to be as loud as we can the next couple
days so even more people sign the petition and Comcast feels the
pressure.

Also, we want to hear from you! Whether you can’t see the game because
you live in an area not served by Comcast or you’re tired of paying
for Comcast just so you can see the Blazers or you strictly refuse to
pay Comcast, we want to hear your stories.

See you tonight and Friday! Let's be heard!
