I'm actually looking forward to the H-O-R-S-E competition at All-Star Weekend between return champ Kevin Durant, Rajon Rando, and Omri Casspi.
Maybe it's just me.
But I'm just not sure any of those guys could beat Pistol Pete - who took out "Ice Man" Gervin in a game of H-O-R-S-E back in the day during the 1977-78 season. Take a look. It's worth the 5 minute clip.
Love Pistol Pete. But I'm still wondering why "Ice Man" didn't bust out the finger roll?
According to one YouTube teaser, "during the 1977-78 Season, CBS broadcast NBA games during the regular season and the playoffs. During halftime of those games, they showed a pre-taped HORSE tournament pitting players from the NBA."
